Break them Up! is a strategy game developed by Nitro Games for mobile devices. As you can probably tell from the title, this free-play game is about breaking up a loving couple. Here, you will have various things at your disposal that you can use to break the couple before they reach the altar.

Break them Up! comes with a simple premise. Here, you will pick things up or make choices that would end the love between the couple in front of you. Be wary, though. Make the wrong choice, and you will bring the two closer together. 

How do you play this game?

The most important thing to note in playing Break them Up! is the liking meter displayed on the couple walking in front of you. This indicates your progress in breaking up the couple. Your goal is to deplete the meter before the two reach the finish line—the altar. You can do so by throwing things at them, including poop, garlic, trash, and rotten tomatoes.

Besides throwing things, you will also need to make choices as you march towards the finish line. Here, you will need to make the right choices—right for you, wrong for them. It is pretty obvious which are good choices and which are not. As you play, you should aim for the ones that are going to mess up the relationship. If it's a nice thing, avoid it like the plague.

At the end of each round, the game will prompt you to watch a video. While you can skip it, it is recommended that you watch them as doing so unlocks the new options. These new moves make it easier to break the couple completely. You can also watch videos to increase your coin earnings. However, since there is no shop to spend them, your money is useless.

Overall, Break them Up! is a casual game that you can play to kill time. It comes with a simple gameplay that does not require a learning curve. There are also multiple levels, so you wouldn't run out of rounds to play. However, its simplicity makes the game a bit boring as you play longer. The lack of challenge also makes the whole experience bland.
